Amanda Kauffman This band deserves to blow up with this album, everything here is just so damn heavy, fun and well written. Hopefully this release gets them the attention they deserve.

Tampertronics These guys are using their town's tragic recent history to make killer art. A great backstory does not a fantastic album make. This just happens to be a fantastic album with a great backstory. I love the alternative percussion used throughout the album, which provides a bit of counterpoint to the bruising arrangements. The flashes of clean guitar are also very effective. Instant purchase. Favorite track: Town Burner.

Aggressive but extremely thoughtful in each track's writing & playing. Especially in the lyrical parallels Horndal find in the desolation of "rust-belt towns" around the world & how similar threads of being left out and behind by those in power can lead to larger issues. A heavy & great record. Favorite track: Town Burner.
